Is it true that we are supposed to pray specific prayers to protect our selves and we are not supposed to marry or have any other happy occasion? May Allah SWT always give us strength and guidance, in order to avoid all forms of heresy, khurafat, and superstitions so that we will be safe from the abyss of polytheism. Rasulullah Saw said: "There is no plague and no ugliness of flying animals and no bad luck of the month of Safar and run (stay away) from leprosy as you flee from a lion" (Narrated by Bukhari). Beliefs regarding unlucky matters or reinforcements on a particular day, month and place are the beliefs of ignorant people before the arrival of Islam. The practice of the month of Safar is the same as the practices in other months. There is no special or certain practice devoted to being celebrated in the month of Safar. He is Our protector, and only in Allah those who believe must put their trust. "Say:" It will not happen to Us, but what Allah has ordained for us.
